I've been going for nearly 39 years! Posados did go through a rough stretch...years ago. Today, they are better than they ever have been. Food is great; service is exceptional!
I don't know but the food is good
Both of the answers previously given.... varied connotations.....inn; place for stopping; rest; to pause
We went there hoping that we could find something extraordinary. We got there 20 minutes before closing and mind you we came all the way from Detroit. As a connoisseur of Mexican food I would rate the place an 8 +. They treated us like family and the tacos and burritos were amazing. They had this salsa that was out of this world 👌😁
Great value, and good atmosphere. Their meats are delicious and worth going back for.
Great service and awesome food.
We just had lunch there a few minutes ago and the food was very good. Our server, Glen, was very polite and made our experience a good one. We will be back.
Love their bar drinks! Especially the RumRunner
Whether we're having a date night or family night this place is always a top pick! The food, service and atmosphere is always great!!
Friendly employees. Great service.
The food here is always fresh and reliable. The picante is the best in East Texas and the soft tortillas are made fresh and served hot. Our favorite TexMex restaurant anywhere...and we love TexMex!
Food was awesome as always. Hot and fresh and service was good
The food is always good and the new waiter did pretty good
The food is ok. Service is kind of slow. Chips aren't warm. The tortillas are tasty. Good fajitas. Not knock-your-socks-off good, but ok for the price. Waitress was nice.
Everything is great! From the food down to the service. Truman, the waiter is very well attentive.
My favorite place to eat...great food all the time. Service is good most of the time...that's why it missed the 5 star
This is a fun looking restaurant but I didnt feel it was worth the money. The Elites were good but $8.00 for a small serving is a lot and the Nachos are not lime I lime them. At $15.00 for 12 chips with too much cheese and a tiny inconsistent amount of meat on them is rediculous. The chips and tortillas are very fresh.
Very good... service was great . Food was delicious
Subpar food. Waited forever for drinks then they wouldn't refill. When we got a refill she still brought the wrong drink. The mushrooms we served in a weird watery oily sauce and tasted like they were from a Chinese buffet.Chicken was spongy Bright side? Salsa was good.
Staple of East Texas TexMex, complimentary chips/salsa, flour/corn tortillas and soft serve ice cream! And that’s just the free stuff. The food is incredible, chimichanga a personal favorite...add quest with everything!
Always a great place to eat! And good service, as always. I have been eating here for 30+ years.
I always love coming here! I met my wife on our first date here and we periodically make it a point to have date night in "our booth" in front of the Tex Rio lady lol. Which is an easy sell for my wife because not only does my wife naturally love Mexican food, but this is her favorite Mexican restaurant! Mine too! The owner even told us to call ahead and he'll keep our booth open if we'd like, WOW that's awesome! Side note: I tried the primo burrito bowl last I went and it may just be my new go to! The fajitas are fantastic and service is always amazing. Been coming here since I was kid and never been disappointed. Keep up the good work guys.
We got the Sr lunch plate, and I really didn't want 2 sides, so I just ordered soup. It was an usually cool and rainy day, and our lovely server, Alba, brought me 2 bowls of soup! She was very attentive throughtout our meal. Taco was hot and crispy, cheese enchilada was tasty, and the soup was perfect for the day!
Each time I visit this restaurant, I want to eat what I like, so Beef Fajitas always seem to find their way to my table. I must say when I first moved to East Texas I did not understand the butter addiction but I have started to partake in the guilty pleasure and I still can’t decide if it’s because the butter adds to the dish or if I add it to cover whatever it is I don’t appreciate in a dish. #easttexanintraining
Disappointed in Posados menu changes. Favorite meal was taken off. Don't like the bowls. Probably won't be going back. Sad!
Very yummy... not fond of small covid changes; salt pepper squeeze margarine (wasn't good for me anyway lol) no longer on table... but food was very delicious and hot and service was great ☺
Bad service. Good food. Our waitress was excellent it was the others. Caution going here
The place was clean, well maintained and friendly staff. Parking was easy on a Saturday afternoon. They practiced social distancing. Our waiter was great in his assistance in a timely manor with everything he could do for us. The food was good and property prepared. My only real complaint was the font size of the new pandemic menu and the reduced selections. The size of the font is so small that I had to use the camera of my phone as a magnify glass! Our waiter admitted that he himself had an issue with being able to read it!
Cute decorations. & I love how they have the lunch special all 7 days of the week. Their tortillas are the best but the fajitas aren’t all that.
Service was poor. Ordered soft tortillas when first seated. Still waiting on them. Food is normally very good but this meal was not.
Food was excellent but the service was outstanding. We walked in with s group of teenagers and they were able to accommodate us easily. The students really enjoyed their interaction with the staff. I would highly recommend this place to anyone
Worked for this place for nearly 3 years. I was one of the best servers there. The new GM at the time terminated me because I called due to the fact I was stranded in some other city and had no way of getting to work. I called three times and no one didn’t answer the phone. This was back in February of 2019.
We love this food. A favorite for great Mexican cuisine.
Slow service and waiter didn't clean our table. Dirty place. Very disappointed.
They forgot my tortillas for my fajitas but made them fresh when we returned to get them.
I really love the food and atmosphere here. The staff was great. A shout out to Ryan, it may have been his first day but he did an excellent job, the only reason I did not give it a full 5stars is my husband said the beer was not cold enough. We will definitely be back.
We ordered the nachos and the fajitas for 2....everything was AWESOME and so tasty! Everyone there is so sweet and polite and great atmosphere as well!
It was good! A little over priced but still great food and awesome service
My food was delicious. It came out incorrectly at first but the mistake was quickly corrected. My server was nice and very helpful. He remembered I asked for extra tortillas with my meal and, when I asked for a to go box, he asked if I wanted tortillas to go as well. 10/10 will visit again.
Was able to quickly get in there and eat on my lunch break with enough time to relax and socialize before I had to go back. Food was placed within 5 minutes of ordering and was exactly how I wanted it. Atmosphere was also nice.
Yep. We keep coming back to great food & services. Really enjoyed tonight celebrating Jeff Basehore's birthday with Dowdy Siblings, Spouses, Mom Dowdy, Aunt & Uncle. Ask for Kieran Morrow for great waitstaff. Kathy
Decent food, cheese enchilada needed to be cooked longer, wish the sophapilla (think that is spelled correctly) were still free
No wait, great service on Valentine's day evening on a Friday night. Nothing fancy on food, but kids were happy with choices available and adults enjoyed the margaritas and street tacos. :)
Food was great and would have rated 5 stars but service was sub par. Would have rated less but we are going to assume that our waiter was new or having one of those days where you just cant get anything right. Margarita no salt, had salt. Sweet tea, unsweet. No onions, loaded with onions. And my quesadilla was not the one I ordered.
Great chimichangas. Nice, quiet, surprisingly not busy for 630pm spring break. Waitress was polite but kinda slow.
We love Posados for lunch! The food is always good. The lunch special is a good deal for the money
Ordered beef & chicken enchiladas...had meal within 5 minutes, server was cute and attentive and was in and out in15 minutes which was great because I was in a hurry!
The food had little flavor and color
They have changed things up recently. The menu is different, along with a few other things. I believe it was a change for the better! The employees were very kind and respectful, and were helpful with things we had questions about. The restaurant was clean and had a good vibe to it. I will definitely be going back!
The new chicken dish with peppers and onions is amazing :) and my server was wearing a mask which is nice.
Very authentic and delicious food. Service was very on point too! Waiter didnt even write order down and he got everything right for 7 people.
Made an order through the waitr app, the app was correct for my orders only to get to the hotel and find out that my order was incorrect. I was forced to have to wait for the establishment to correct my order after telling them twice that what they had ready for me was incorrect. Glad they corrected the order, just the additional wait time that was an inconvenience.
Excellent service and very good food
